In a small colonial town, where the fields paint a majestic landscape, Cristian Ponce was born—a young man destined to leave his mark on the world. His childhood was shaped by the fusion of two cultures: the vibrant warmth of Mexico and the understated sophistication of Europe. From an early age, he showed an innate passion for quality garments.

Of Spanish and French descent, Cristian moved to the United States at the age of 19, settling in New York . In this metropolis, he found inspiration and challenges that would shape his character. During the day, he worked in an Italian restaurant, surrounded by an environment completely different from what he aspired to pursue. After his 12-hour shifts, he tirelessly sought his passion.

As the years went by, Cristian began to notice a gap in the market. People were looking for clothing that was comfortable and functional, but they also wanted style and exclusivity—something that made them feel unique. Inspired by his cultural heritage and the demands of life in New York, Cristian decided to create something different at the age of 23. On a winter’s night, the idea of Saint Fortis was born.

He sourced the finest cotton from the United States and high-quality finishes that evoked the discreet opulence of Europe. Each piece had to be a perfect balance between form and function: a T-shirt you could wear both to the gym and on a casual outing.

Cristian launched his first collection from a small room in Hudson Valley, using his bedroom as a workshop and his friends as models. The response was immediate.
